White Teeth - First African-american Assumes As Ada President

Orlando, Fla .— Dr. Raymond F. Gist of Grand Blanc, Mich., took office Oct. 13 as the ADA's 147th president during the 2010 House of Delegates meeting here at annual session. Dr. Gist, the first African-American to hold the ADA’s highest elective office, succeeds Dr. Ron Tankersley as president.
